Daniel Barber is an educator, teacher trainer, and British author specialized in teaching English as a foreign language. With over 20 years of experience, he has taught in Mexico, the United Kingdom, and Spain. He currently resides in Cádiz, where he co-founded a language and teacher training school. Among his most notable works are Perspectives (2017), a National Geographic Learning series that integrates language skills with critical thinking and TED talks, and From English Teacher to Learner Coach (2014), co-written with Duncan Foord, which promotes a coaching approach to English teaching.

Barber has also contributed to series such as The Big Picture and Personal Best, published by Richmond Publishing. His professional interests include motivation in learning, neuroeducation, and the development of student autonomy. Additionally, he is a founding member of ELT Footprint, an initiative that promotes sustainability in English teaching. His work combines practical classroom experience with an innovative approach to developing educational materials.
