Mark Buckingham is a prominent British comic book artist, born on May 23, 1966 in Clevedon, England. He is mainly recognized for his work on the Fables and Hellblazer series.

He began his professional career in 1987, working on illustrations for the British satirical magazine The Truth, where he collaborated with Neil Gaiman. His debut in the American market was in 1988 as an inker on Hellblazer, and later he took on the role of main artist in the series. Additionally, he has worked on titles such as Marvelman (known in the U.S. as Miracleman), Generation X, Ghost Rider 2099, and Peter Parker: Spider-Man.
