Synopsis "She Stoops To Conquer"

When it was initially produced, "She Stoops to Conquer" was a financial and critical success, and it is still one of the plays in the English language that is played the most. It is noteworthy for its blend of broad physical humor and smart language, as well as for its generally favorable depiction of the lower classes.
