Bear Grylls (nacido en 1974 en Donaghadee, Irlanda del Norte) es un aventurero, escritor y presentador de televisión británico, conocido mundialmente por su serie Man vs. Wild (A prueba de todo). Desde joven mostró interés por el montañismo y las actividades al aire libre. Sirvió en las fuerzas especiales británicas (SAS), donde adquirió habilidades de supervivencia extrema. En 1998, con solo 23 años, se convirtió en una de las personas más jóvenes en escalar el Monte Everest después de recuperarse de una grave lesión en la espalda.
Además de su trabajo en televisión, Grylls ha escrito varios libros sobre aventura y superación personal y ha promovido causas humanitarias y medioambientales. También ha sido jefe de los Scouts del Reino Unido desde 2009.
