Victoria Vílchez was born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, though she currently lives in Madrid. She has a degree in Biology from the University of La Laguna; later, however, she discovered that her true passion was storytelling, and she ended up permanently switching from science to literature. Since then, she has not stopped writing, and for several years now, she has been exclusively dedicated to it.
She has published more than twenty novels in genres including young adult, new adult, fantasy, and contemporary romance, among which are Solo tres citas y… una mentira, Cada estrella de mi cielo, and Un linaje oscuro, the duology «Quiéreme» or the series «Una estación contigo» and «Antes de», with the first installment earning her a nomination for New Author at the Rosa Romántica’s Awards 2013, and the Rosa Romántica’s Award for Best Romantic Youth Novel 2014 with the second.
When she is not at the keyboard, she enjoys her free time with her daughter, reading or binge-watching series and movies. Or chatting with her readers through social media and talking about her characters as if they were real people. She loves summer and does not get along well with the cold, so whenever she can, she escapes to her homeland in search of her dose of sun, sand, and salt.
