Una vida sin salud mental es un libro con escritos muy íntimos de la autora. Trata varias enfermedades mentales como la depresión, la ansiedad no adaptativa y la anorexia, un trastorno de la conducta alimentaria. No es una obra positivista y quizás tampoco esperanzadora, pero es un libro que muestra lo real y lo duro que es pasar por estas enfermedades y no ver la salida. Es un libro con el que definitivamente te sentirás identificado si estás pasando o has pasado por lo mismo. Y esa era la verdadera intención de Alba, que pudieses leerlo y no te sintieras sola pero también que pudieses ver la importancia de pedir ayuda a tiempo, aunque en ese momento ya sientas que no hay nada que hacer.

Alba González (2004) was 12 years old when she started writing, she did it to survive, because facing depression she had no other way to stand. After being admitted to a TCA center at 16, she decided to publish A Life Without Mental Health, a compilation of everything she felt between 2017 and 2021. She became known on the social network TikTok and, due to the need to continue telling the reality that many people live, she published Everything I Have Left to Tell. Scars That Still Hurt is her third book. She has always liked everything related to creativity, enjoys dancing, painting, acting and, of course, writing. Having to leave school at a very young age due to depression and anorexia, today she dedicates, among other things, to spreading mental health awareness on her social networks and books.
