Los aforismos, como esbozos de un tiempo, de una vida y de un pensamiento, se sintetizan en breves líneas para dar disparos de inteligencia. Ente libro es un compendio de aforismos de Fernando Pessoa y de todos aquellos personajes y personalidades –Alberto Caeiro, Charles Robert Anon, Álvaro de Campos, Antonio Mora, Dr. Gaudencio Nabos, Ricardo Reis, Alexander Search, Bernardo Soares, Barón de Teive–, que vivían en el autor portugués.

Puesto que “No hay normas [y] todos los hombres son excepciones de una regla que no existe” es de diferentes temas e intereses discurren por estas páginas. Fernando Pessoa (1888-1935) was a Portuguese poet, writer, and philosopher, considered one of the most prominent literary figures of the 20th century. Born in Lisbon, he developed a prolific and complex literary work, characterized by the creation of heteronyms, literary personalities with their own biographies and styles. In addition to his literary production, he worked as a translator and editor, and was a profound connoisseur of philosophy and esotericism.

Among his most notable works are "The Book of Disquiet" (1982), a compilation of fragments that explore introspection and melancholy; "Message" (1934), a poetic work that celebrates the history and identity of Portugal; and "The Anarchist Banker" (1922), a philosophical essay that addresses the contradiction between anarchism and capitalism. These works have been fundamental in Portuguese and world literature, reflecting the depth and complexity of Pessoa's thought.
