Synopsis "An Awful Author"

Although she doesn’t realise it Harriet has spent the last two hundred and fifty years trying to write her first novel, and as she arrives in Chestnut she senses that it will provide her with the inspiration she needs to finally get the job done. Once Harriet settles down in the Severn Crop Circles public house she soon starts to make friends, and once she has acquired the magical equipment she needs she sets to work interviewing the good folk of Chestnut. What Harriet doesn’t realise however is that a shadow prince is manipulating her and as it becomes clear that Harriet needs help Faye, Sara, Phoebe, Matthew. Doris and Beryl rally round to try and save Harriet before it’s too late. Although they soon learn that Harriet is not quite all she seems to be the countdown to confrontation begins, but as the shadow prince looks like winning an unlikely ally has the chance to turn the tide in their favour.
