About the book: Set against the backdrop of post-World War II and the Cold War era, "Baptism by Blood" takes readers into the bowels of a lawless town notoriously known as The Dregs. Here, the lives of a cornered con artist, a hunted hitman, and a haunted war vet priest converge at the Blessed Sacrament Church to set off an explosive night of deceit, survival, and unlikely alliances forged in blood. Blurb: Welcome to The Dregs. This cutthroat, morally bankrupt, crime-riddled town has rightfully earned that notorious moniker by being home to the scum of the earth. In The Dregs, anarchy reigns supreme, and life is rife with danger and dangerous people. In The Dregs, neither the sheep nor the shepherd is safe! On a fateful night where several destinies collide, who among these three will live to die another day? A con artist negotiating a life-and-death situation, a hitman marked for death, or a priest with a troubled past? Bullets will fly, bodies will drop, and there will be blood!
