Synopsis "Becoming Mai"

The hated middle child... The difficult one... The throwaway... The one nobody wanted around... ...became a wife, mother, entrepreneur, philanthropist and community leader despite the abuse, rejection, depression, anxiety, and pain that seemed to plague her life. Mai Elijah LeBeau had withstood every fiery arrow life that thrown at her. Unwanted and unloved by her parents and siblings, she survives through the efforts of learning to be independent from an early age and from the love of people in the community who took action when they saw what was going on. Through the love and fervent prayers of her grandmother, Mai's faith is restored and she is able to move forward and become the great woman she was meant to be...but not without a few more fiery arrows...
