Synopsis "Cedar Gets Stuck In Screen Land"

This is a book about the importance of mindfulness and grounding in a highly technological world. It teaches that connection and basic needs are essential in feeling well. It also teaches the ways to come back to the present moment after being distracted by screen time. Cedar is a sea lion pup that becomes entranced in an exciting and fun land during screen time. He quickly understands that screen time does not fill the needs of a sea lion pup and he becomes lonely and hungry. Using mindfulness and grounding techniques, Cedar comes back to the present moment and finds comfort in this mama's cuddles and food. This book is a gentle reminder of the dangers of screen time for children and it encourages children to find ways to ground themselves for health, balance, and regulation in life.
