Pilot, Alexis Grant, was happiest when she was in the cockpit of a plane, soaring above the clouds, and felt that was all she needed to make her life complete. That was until she met A.J. Sinclair, the son of her employer, Sinclair Charter Service. Even if A.J. did make her think of marriage and a family, she knew the difference in their social status kept those thoughts grounded. But that never stopped her from dreaming. Austin Sinclair, Jr. (A.J.), was on a mission to prove to his parents, founders of Sinclair Charter Service, they should jump at the chance to merge with three other air charter companies, thus forming a conglomerate that would monopolize the entire West Coast. In order to do that, he had to fly to Los Angeles to dig into the business dealings of those three companies to prove to his parents the three companies were on the up and up. That's when he met his attractive pilot, Alexis Grant, and as his heart slowly began to pull toward her, A.J. had to remember why he was in L.A. But that never stopped him from dreaming. During Alexis and A.J.'s return flight, for some unexplainable reason, their plane becomes low on fuel, and Alexis' skills as a pilot are put to the test as she desperately tries to bring the plane down safely, where it eventually crash-lands in a dense, remote wooded area. Thankful they survived the crash, they find themselves with no food, very little water, exposed to the elements, and Alexis' life slowly slipping away due to the injuries she sustained in the crash. But with a strong will to survive, and an even stronger love for each other, the two crash survivors realize as long as they had each other, they could survive anything. Or could they? Someone wanted A.J. Sinclair stopped before he returned to Seattle and revealed to his parents the findings of his investigation. How far would that someone go to prevent that? Would they go as far as sabotage?
