Steven L. Peck (nacido en 1953) es un escritor, biólogo evolutivo y profesor universitario estadounidense, reconocido por combinar la ciencia con la literatura especulativa, la filosofía y la reflexión religiosa. Obtuvo un doctorado en Biología por la Universidad de Arizona y ha desarrollado gran parte de su carrera académica como profesor de biología y ecología en la Universidad Brigham Young.
