Wissenschaftliche Studie aus dem Jahr 2005 im Fachbereich Ingenieurwissenschaften - Nachrichtentechnik / Kommunikationstechnik, Hochschule Karlsruhe - Technik und Wirtschaft, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In vielen Anwendungen der FFT ("Fast-Fourier-Transform"), die zur Ermittlung von Spektren dienen, benötigt man in einem bestimmten Bereich des zu ermittelnden Spektrums eine erhöhte Auflösung in Form einer Zoom-Funktion. Ein Zahlenbeispiel soll das näher erläutern. Wenn man z.B. Komponenten in der Umgebung von 250 Hz mit einer Auflösung von 1 mHz erfassen möchte, benötigt man bei einer Abtastfrequenz von 1000 Hz eine FFT mit einer Million Werten. Eine FFT mit dieser Anzahl von Werten ist nicht effizient und stellt einen gro en Aufwand dar. Es wird hier gezeigt, wie man mit normalen Grö en der FFT (z.B. mit 512, 1024 oder 2048 Werten) die gewünschte Auflösung, in einem begrenzten Bereich, erreichen kann.
