Gelynos - Huw T Price

A love letter to a farming family and community badly disguised as the calendar of jobs that are completed on a sheep and beef farm in mid Wales. The connection to a family farm is a deep and complex one in Wales, due to the lack of variation of surnames you are named after your farm, the book centres on my dad Gary Gelynos, the questionable decisions he makes and the humour that results from these. They are all warriors, living an honest life, one where you work through bad weather and injuries without stopping to pause. Growing up as a farmer, how it makes you look at the world through a different lens.
