Synopsis "Henry Vlll"

Henry VIII is a full biography of King Henry VIII. The history goes into the deep knowledge of Henry VIII's unique personality and the essential events that shaped his rule. The author tells the story of Henry's life from the time he took the throne in 1509 until he died in 1547. Readers can read about his political moves, marriages, religious changes, and the effect he had on English society. Pollard does a lot of study and analysis to look at how religion changed in England during Henry's rule, especially when he broke away from the Roman Catholic Church and started the Church of England. The biography also talks about Henry's relationships with his women, like how he wanted a son to be his heir, which led to his famous divorces, annulments, and executions. This biography is a must-read for anyone interested in English history or the life of Henry VIII.
