Because of the way her Mother chose to live her life, Rain is convinced that all men are user pigs. As a result, she makes a decision for her own life, not to ever get involved with a man... The drama that they brought into women's lives, just wasn't worth the heartache they inevitably left behind. When her Aunt Rosemary calls to let her mother know that she is in the final stages of MS and needs someone to come and live with her, to care for her; Rain sees it as the perfect excuse to get away from her mother and the latest in a long string of classless men she was involved with. Moving to the old run down bed and breakfast in the tiny hick town that her Aunt lives in, Rain decides that the thing to do, is to rebuild Hope Springs to its former glory and open it back up. She is determined to do it herself. Too bad for her, Zack feels that he owes Rosemary, and the carpenter is determined to lend a hand in fixing up his friend and pseudo-mother's home. What will happen when this young woman with man issues and this sexy commitment wary carpenter end up working together day in and day out, to bring Hope Springs back to life? Can they ignore the mutual attraction that only makes them both nervous? Or will Hope Springs live up to its name, and bring these two unlikely souls together, the same way it had decades before, for Rosemary and her husband? Time will only tell, but one thing is certain. Whatever happens, it's definitely going to be a wild and crazy ride.
