Synopsis "ICHI & Crumple"

ICHI! Number One Baseball Robot is the story of a special robot tasked with revitalizing baseball in America. But revitalizing means change, and with change comes loss. When you replace the working parts you get a different machine. Is preservation worth possibly losing what made something great in the first place? Momentary success can lead to absolute ruin. In the end, the choice is up to Ichi.

A sci-fi take on the haunted house, Crumple is the story of an ersatz time machine gone haywire, turning a once happy family home into a gallery of shame and regret. But the malice of the machine goes beyond malfunction, showing something darker lurking in the home. Fitting for a story about the dream of time travel, Crumple came to me in a dream where the walls of a house moved to devour the people within. Much like ICHI, Crumple is about a choice for the future and how trying to hold on to the past can destroy the future.

Kyle Law is an independent writer from New Jersey. He has been featured in several comic anthologies from publishers such as Oneshi Press and Back From the Depths.
