It was possible to perceive the difficulties encountered by university students when carrying out homework or academic activities; the lack of study habits that manifests itself in poor academic performance.the methodology used to carry out the diagnosis was the problem tree, observation and recording of note-taking behaviour in class, the study habits questionnaire and study synthesis techniques. After tabulating and analysing the data, a study habits programme was developed for first semester students of the Faculty of Nursing in the subject of Developmental Psychology at the Universidad Mayor de San Simón. This project aims to improve the academic performance of university students in 2019.
