Intimate God - Michael A Staples

"Intimate God" is encouragement that challenges, an honest look at a believer's relationship with God. God desires to make His home with us; how hospitable am I? Do I want Him in all of my choices and habits as well as in my church and prayer? He wants to be in every detail. A careful and intentional walk with God is described: by the faith of the Son of God we grow. Our entire lives in Christ may be growth from beginning to end, the Spirit and Word provide for that. God never leaves us alone, He remains always, and He fits each believer into the Body of Christ. Intimacy with God is not small, it is abundant in every way. God wants for us to be honest with Him; we cannot be too honest with God, He is ready. In Christ, each and every correction is of love and into love. We choose intimacy with God, and when we do, we are one with Him, because that is His choice first.
