God's relationship with man is covenant-based. The Bible unfolds the details of God's covenants which form the basis of His relationship and dealings with man. God is strictly faithful to His own side of the bargain, and vehemently detests man's unfaithfulness in this respect. Really, God will never relate with anyone outside of His covenant.
