Paris Proposal. A Novel - Kristen Chaudiere;Erin Baldwin

For fans of Emily Henry and Emily in Paris, The Paris Proposal is a sparkling romcom in which a type A California girl lands her dream job at the Louvre and hatches a fake marriage scheme with a charming Frenchman—only to find that cultures clash, sparks fly, and love might not be such a ruse after all . . .

Jess O’Connor didn’t come to Paris looking for romance. After a surprise layoff and a humiliating breakup, landing a coveted one-year position at the Louvre was supposed to be her fresh start. A chance to rebuild her life on her own terms… But before she’s even unpacked, a bureaucratic nightmare threatens to send her crawling back home to California.

Unless Jess finds a way to secure a long-stay visa, she’ll lose the dream job and the new life she’s finally building. Her only solution? A wildly reckless, legally-binding marriage of convenience.

Enter Theo Fizel, an infuriatingly charming French filmmaker with a Provençal winery he has no interest in running and hopelessly romantic parents who will only let him walk away for “true love.”

Their arrangement should be simple: a fake engagement, a few convincing family visits, and just enough romance to satisfy the French government. But as stolen weekends at the chateau give way to candlelit dinners and vineyard sunsets, pretending starts to feel dangerously close to the real thing.

Set between the cobblestone streets of Paris and the dreamy, lavender-scented hills of Provence, The Paris Proposal is a sparkling romantic comedy about starting over and discovering that a meticulously planned future is never as beautiful as the one you never saw coming.
