Synopsis "Picking Daisies..."

This is a book about boys football, Oxford United and England, football trips and beer. It is a journey from a man with no experience starting up a rag-a-muffin group of six year old boys and trying to make a football team out of them. There are football games, trips, drinking sessions, life and humour. The boys football is interspersed with Oxford United trips and games, England at the Euro's and at World Cups, and the bunch of friends that hap-hazzardly followed them. Any sports fan, parent, player, referee or ex-player can identify with the up's and down's of the world of football/soccer from grass-roots level up to the excitement of World Cup games and beyond.
