Ronald “Ron” Edwin Larson (nacido el 31 de octubre de 1941 en Fort Lewis, Washington) es matemático, profesor universitario y autor de textos educativos estadounidenses. Se graduó con un Ph.D. en Topología por la Universidad de Colorado en 1970 y ha sido profesor de matemáticas en Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, desde esa fecha. A lo largo de su carrera ha desarrollado materiales para distintos niveles educativos, desde enseñanza media hasta cursos universitarios avanzados, incluyendo cálculo diferencial y álgebra, con un estilo pedagógico claro y accesible.

Entre sus obras más conocidas está Cálculo (junto con Bruce H. Edwards), en sus múltiples ediciones; Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions; Precalculus: Real Mathematics, Real People; Geometry; entre otros títulos ampliamente usados por estudiantes en todo el mundo.
