Synopsis "Provocación (in Spanish)"

«Provocación» es una hazaña intelectual sin precedentes. En ella Lem hace coincidir la obra de Horst Aspernicus, un supuesto historiador alemán del Holocausto, cuyos «trabajos» suponen un análisis radical del genocidio y un salto mortal en los abismos de la naturaleza del sujeto; «Un minuto humano» ―un libro imaginario escrito por Johnson & Johnson―, que se propone presentar «lo que todo el mundo está haciendo simultáneamente durante un minuto»; «El mundo como Holocausto», una introducción a un libro aún no escrito, donde Lem predice desarrollos futuros en el conocimiento sobre la creación de la vida en el Universo; y «La evolución al revés», otra reseña de otro libro ficticio que Lem afirma haber leído (una historia militar del mundo escrita en un futuro siglo XXI) y utilizado para sus novelas. «Provocación» es un libro heterodoxo, profundo y exigente que cuestiona las convicciones culturales del individuo contemporáneo, de uno de los grandes maestros de la literatura del siglo XX.
