Synopsis "Scapa Flow (in German)"

Admiral Ludwig von Reuter schildert die letzten Monate der deutschen Flotte im Ersten Weltkrieg vom Waffenstillstand im November 1918 bis zur Versenkung der Flotte am 21 Juni 1919 auf seinen eigenmächtigen Befehl, der einen Bruch des Waffenstillstandvertrages bedeutete. 74 deutsche Schiffe waren in der Bucht Scapa Flow bei den Orkney Inseln interniert. Da Reuter nicht an eine Annahme des Friedensvertrages von Versailles glaubte, wollte er die Flotte nicht in britische Hände fallen lassen - was die letzten Todesopfer des ersten Weltkrieges forderte.
