Synopsis "Second Chance Cookies"

Cadeesha Sweets, an eleven and a half-year-old African American girl who is full of life, but has an anger problem and struggles with life's disappointments. Yes, she is known to become bummed out, mad, and boiling mad! Cadeesha is furious when her plans for the cookie bake-off don't work out, and everybody knows it. Cadeesha has her share of ups and downs with her parents and coping with starting new friendships and missing her best friend who moved away. Her family and community provide a background of support as Cadeesha tackles learning best ways to cope with her problems. In addition to her breath-taking adventure, Cadeesha's developing faith, belief, and reliance on God will touch readers' hearts.
