There appears to be a plot afoot to clone Jesus Christ - something that can't be done with degraded DNA samples from artifacts from the Passion. What are the plotters up to and why? How can they possibly succeed? If the plotters succeed in cloning Christ, it will mean the downfall of the Vatican and the Roman Catholic Church, a reordering of the Christian sects elevating a heretical sect to worldwide prominence, and, therefore, a serious blow to the foundations of Western Civilization. A document written by Cassiodorus, circa 523 AD, has been uncovered that purports to provide the location of a map to the greatest treasure in human history. What is the treasure and why are the plotters trying to find the map and the Vatican trying to make sure it stays lost? Can the map be located or is it really lost in the sands of time? The Vatican has engaged a couple of unlikely sinners to be its saviors. Joseph Delacroix is a tall, athletic, disgraced genetics researcher barely scraping by recovering stolen religious objects. He is the perfect man for the job. He loves a good mystery. He is always the smartest person in the room and he knows it. Plus, he is irreligious and has a strong streak of avarice. Marah Jackson is a beautiful, professional problem solver. Her favorite approach to solving a problem is to eliminate it. Most of the problems she eliminates are people. She enjoys her work; especially eliminating men. With Joseph providing the brains and Marah providing the firepower, can they save the Vatican, the Roman Catholic Church, and Western Civilization?
