Synopsis "She Thinks "

Why do women feel the need to compete, compare, undermine, and undercut one another? Why do we feel on guard and on the defensive with other women? We all are adequate; we all are unique; we all are brilliant, gorgeous, fabulous, and talented in our own right. Too often we make unfounded presumptions about one another. We become mind readers. When we attempt to read someone's mind, we assume we know what they think or feel without direct evidence. Mind-reading often leads to confusion, resentment, and frustration and sets the stage for "she thinks." How many of you have heard the term in reference to yourself, "she thinks," and the sadder aspect of it, how many of us have said it about our sistahs. Each one of us has the power to break that stereotype, to start engaging in honest dialogue about, "she thinks." I invite each of you as you read this book to delve into your psyche to understand where and why this mindset starts, so that we can begin to break the cycle of "she thinks."
