Synopsis "Shock Treatment"

Previously available only as stand-alone 48-page "One-Shocks," each of these graphic tales of terror - physical, spiritual, psychological - will thrill, chill and shock fans of horror, suspense and the supernatural. PIECEMEAL by Cullen Bunn (DARK ARK, BROTHERS DRACUL, Harrow County) and Szymon Kudranski (BLACK-EYED KIDS). Five young friends. One old house. And a brain floating in a jar. What could go wrong? GOD OF TREMORS by Peter Milligan (OUT OF BODY, Hellblazer) and Piotr Kowalksi (JOIN THE FUTURE, Sex). A gothic tale of nightmarish terror and creeping enlightenment. 10 YEARS TO DEATH by Aaron Douglas (SHOCK, "Chief" on Battlestar Galactica) and Cliff Richards (SHOCK, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). The Shawshank Redemption meets The Sixth Sense, inspired b an eerily bone-chilling true story.

Peter Milligan (born June 24, 1961) is a British writer known for his work in comics, film, and television

Milligan, born in London, England, began his comic career with short stories for 2000 AD in the early eighties. In 1986, Milligan worked on 2000AD on the title "Bad Company", with artists Brett Ewins and Jim McCarthy. "Bad Company" was a popular future war story and helped Milligan make a name for himself in the comic world

At the same time, Milligan, Ewins, and Brendan McCarthy had been working on the anthology title, Strange Days for Eclipse Comics. Strange Days featured three lines, "Paradax", "Freakwave", and "Johnny Nemo". Milligan, McCarthy, and Ewins produced three issues of this psychedelic comic, it was not a big sales hit, but it gained a small and loyal number of readers. The more conventional strip, "Johnny Nemo", would have its own series, while the stranger "Paradax" had a two-issue series published by Vortex Comics in 1987.
