Synopsis "Sky Blue Eyes"

It's August 1970. I'm seven years old and my Dad is taking me to my first Coventry City home match. The previous season City finished sixth, qualifying for Europe. Little did I know, it would be a mammoth forty eight years before we were to finish a season in the top six of any division again. This is the story of how a boyhood love affair with a football club turned into purgatory. Culminating in a glorious day at Wembley in May 2018. The book's journey also features the changes in football and social culture. From the dark days of rampant hooliganism to the sanitised era of Sky TV. A tale of under achieving and over believing All seem through Sky Blue Eyes.
