Taylor Finds A Turtle - Adam Hunter

Taylor Alexis loves animals and notices every one of them on her walk home from school. So when she finds a tiny box turtle heading toward the road, she does not hesitate to help.

Soon the turtle-temporarily named Murtle-becomes part of Taylor's everyday life. He digs, climbs, flips over, and wins her heart a little more each day. But when Taylor learns Murtle may belong to someone else, she must make a difficult choice.

Taylor Finds a Turtle is a warm, charming story about kindness, love, letting go, and the surprising ways good things can stay with us even after they change.
