Synopsis "The Backlot Paradox"

Behind the velvet ropes of Hollywood's most famous backlot lies a secret hidden beneath Soundstage 13.Twenty-two-year-old VIP tour guide Megan Richards knows every urban legend in the studio's history, but she never expected to find a glowing celluloid portal pulsing beneath the floorboards. When an eccentric, visionary director activates an experimental dimensional engine to weld reality into one eternal movie under his tyrannical control, Megan and a rogue animatronics technician get sucked into the cinematic multiverse.Suddenly, practical effects turn into lethal reality. To survive, they must sprint through gritty black-and-white noir alleys, dodge laser-slinging outlaws in retro-futuristic westerns, and battle across storm-tossed pirate galleons. With the studio continuity supervisor struggling to patch tearing timelines, Megan must use her deep screenwriting instincts to outsmart living genre tropes and sabotage the central projector network before their home reality is permanently left on the cutting room floor.Fast-paced and wildly imaginative, The Backlot Paradox is a high-octane celebration of classic cinema, multidimensional mayhem, and taking control of your own narrative.
