Synopsis "The Blues"

Our heroine's mother told our heroine, "Sometimes we all get the blues!" just as our heroine (confused by what her mother said) heads out the door to play! (After all. she wasn't feeling at all sad!) And so, next, she does what she always does; and she tells all her friends what her mother said (beginning with the elephant) to find out if they can tell her why her mother said what she said, and what her mother meant! And in the end, and after much thinking about it, she figures it out all by herself!Think about what you think our heroine's mother meant, and why she said what she said, as you practice reading skills and build your reading word vocabulary through word recognition, word repetition and rhyme, all of which you will find in this find in this fun, 'learn to read' book written and illustrated by the award winning author, attorney and former teacher, Penelope Dyan. But most of all, have fun as you learn! And when you are finished traveling through this book, you can go to the Bellissimavideo YouTube channel and watch the free, fun music video that goes with this book! And then you can have even more learning fun!
