Synopsis "The Butterfly Effect"

Emily Reese is an average 20-something except for one key difference. She prefers to talk in verse and rhyme than in the normal pros of most. She knows her chances of becoming a world-renowned poet like her heroes,Robert Frost and Maya Angelou, so Emily focuses on challenging herself, trying something new, and putting out work that makes people think. She considers the concept of this book, starting each poem with the last word of the poem before it, to be a thought experiment. While she’s published a work with a similar structure, she thinks this book shows how much she’s grown as a poet over her years of writing. This book will serve as a reminder to Emily of a specific time in her life, a time when she felt her whole future was ahead of her and the possibilities were endless. This is a fun place to be and she is so grateful to be able to continue writing throughout every stage of her life.
