Synopsis "The Funicular Catacombs"

The Mannequin is an ancient demon who traps people in mirrors in the midnight room so it can feed off their energy, and unaware that the Mannequin is hunting them three separate groups of adventurers arrive in the Ossuary Catacombs. Sara, Dirk, Tristan and Beryl visit the catacombs because it is Dirk's hometown, and by using the Babushka doll Dirk decides to claim his birth right. Faye and Sarah arrive there via the cellar of the Seven Crop Circles public house ably assisted by Sergeant Pickle and Constable Lilly, whereas Phoebe and Frank arrive there with a newly rescued Jorge Jaculus and someone Phoebe hasn't seen for a long time. With the help of Bert the harpy and his carnyx the seal to the catacombs is broken, and using the funicular everyone eventually meets up at the catacomb's caf? when the apothecary jukebox is the final obstacle before they confront the Mannequin. The skeleton keys and a feted Pendragon all have their part to play, but if victorious the final question will be who will inherit the glass throne. The Funicular Catacombs is the tenth book in the Cloud Children series.
