Be the calmest."Over thirty-five years, he works segregation, mental health, the infirmary, and the recreation yard. He rises through the ranks, survives violence and a major prison disturbance, becomes a sergeant, leaves corrections, and returns when life outside the walls doesn't go as planned. But the hardest battles aren't always at work.Family struggles, divorce, personal mistakes, an investigation, and battles with his own mental health force him to confront the question: Who is he when the uniform comes off?The Walls Remember is a fictional story of duty, friendship, family, failure, second chances, and resilience-and of the men and women who spend their lives working behind doors most people never see.Officers leave.
