Twelve Couplings: A Structural Study of Socialist Organization - Instructor Edition provides a framework for teaching and studying twelve poems organized around structures of socialist organization and the compositional method of Absolute Composition. Each poem begins with a conceptual triad and composes that triad through the behavior of an independently observable natural, biological, or engineered system. Across the sequence, the triads examine allocation, social accounting, planning, democratic prioritization, collective revision, contribution, delegation, production targets, shortfall, feedback, reallocation, adaptation, and federation. The socialist system and the empirical system remain distinct. Their relationship is one of structural correspondence: each performs a comparable operation while retaining its own terms, materials, and constraints. Water, electrical infrastructure, navigational systems, forestry, groundwater, population studies, timber processing, cargo loading, controlled growing systems, tree growth, and grafting provide empirical structures through which organizational relations can be examined. The Instructor Edition supports two independent but intersecting approaches. In courses concerned with socialism, political organization, or social theory, the poems provide compact models through which questions of allocation, planning, delegation, prioritization, feedback, adaptation, federation, and related organizational processes can be examined. In courses concerned with poetry, poetics, or composition, the same poems provide examples of Absolute Composition, a method developed by J. A. Gucci in which empirical systems are researched, compressed, and composed while their governing structures remain intact. Each coupling is accompanied by five sections. Natural / Engineered System identifies the observable system underlying the poem and describes its material behavior. Socialist System explains the organizational relation expressed by the triad. Correspondence identifies the structural behavior shared by the two systems. Absolute Composition examines compression, omission, thresholds, ambiguity, and structural integrity. Discussion provides questions addressing both the organizational correspondence and the poem's construction.Three appendices extend the instructional framework. The first documents the empirical phenomena and technical systems underlying the poems. The second examines compositional frameworks and structural mechanisms, including structural correspondence, paradox triads, thresholds, compression, Structural Zeugma, withheld identification, and retrospective structure. The third maps the twelve conceptual triads to their empirical systems and structural operations. A glossary defines the book's central terms. The instructional material does not prescribe a single interpretation or function as an answer key. Instead, it makes the machinery of the poems visible while preserving the distinction between construction and interpretation. The poems remain primary. The structure must hold.
