Synopsis "Whatever Baby"

Whatever Baby is a poetic meditation on grit and vitality. A revealing display of characters who struggle with the blurry demands of morality and responsibility. A fictitious journey without judgement, the figures in Whatever Baby must negotiate the temptations of their relative paradise, choosing between love and lust, monogamy and sex, money and dreams, ethics and impulse. Set amongst an array of paradise beach landscapes and hyper modern urban cities, the tales of these characters and towns are an open letter to the misfits, lovers, travelers, politicians and idealists who inhabit these lively pages. Nothing is left clean, and all are struck by the persistent waves of living.Delivered in modern poetic prose, infused with a swaying literary transcendentalism, the stories and poems in Whatever Baby are deftly divided into Long and Short pieces. Intently written in stylistic verse and prose, steadied by a staunch clarity, Whatever Baby is a feat of craft and whimsical romance, grounded in the realities of a damaged culture, and sharply changing times.
