Synopsis "Worth it: Poetry "

Worth It is the debut poetry collection from Erin Matlock, spanning four heart-gripping acts which explore life, heartbreak, love and the courage to choose yourself.Matlock is a mental health activist and advisor who challenges the stigma of depression and suicide through deeply personal accounts of survival and public recovery. Her writing uniquely captures stirring snapshots of life; taking readers on a journey through self-discovery, loss, failure, aloneness, trusting yourself, eternal love and empowerment.Included are personal photographs of the Arizona trails and mountains she hikes to protect her quiet peace and calm her wild mind. This raw, beautiful debut will inspire you to take stock of your life, embrace the explosive love of this world and rise up into who you were destined to be.
