Barbara Ann Brennan
Barbara Ann Brennan graduated in Physics in 1962 at the University of Wisconsin and earned her master's degree in Atmospheric Physics at the same institution. She worked as a researcher at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, a position she left to fully dedicate herself to her calling as a healer. She studied with Eva and John Pierrakos until she became a Pathwork Helper and graduated in Core Energetics. Barbara Brennan has dedicated more than 35 years to the study of the human energy field and her books Hands of Light and Light Emerging are considered fundamental in the field of complementary therapies. With 'Essential Healing,' the author closes her trilogy of light. As a result of her work, she developed Brennan Healing Science, a modality of holistic healing based on the human energy-consciousness system and its relationship to health and disease. This type of energy therapy encompasses all aspects of a person's life. Before retiring from teaching, Barbara founded and directed the Barbara Brennan School of Healing which to date has trained more than 3,000 graduates in 4-year Brennan Healing Science Professional programs in addition to other academic programs. The school continues its work and in 2017 celebrates its 35th anniversary.
