Journalist trained in some of the most important media outlets in Mexico: in his early years as a reporter, he collaborated with the evening newspaper El Noticiero de Toluca and El Heraldo de Toluca, was a correspondent in Colombia, Texas, and Miami for Notimex where he also served as deputy director of editing and writing; worked with the newspaper Reforma as political information manager of Infosel; at El Universal, he was director of content for the Internet portal, at Diario Monitor he was general coordinator of information and until October 2007, general editor of the newspaper El Centro
In 1997, he received the Presea Estado de México José María Coss in journalism
He is the author of the book El Cártel de Juárez (Temas de hoy, 2008) and co-author of Negocios de familia. Unauthorized Biography of Enrique Peña Nieto and the Grupo Atlacomulco (Temas de hoy, 2009)
