John Sellars
John Sellars is a professor of Philosophy at Royal Holloway (University of London) and a visiting research professor at King’s College London, where he combines teaching with the Ancient Commentators on Aristotle project. He has also been a professor of Philosophy at various universities in the UK; the most recent being Birkbeck (University of London).
He is a member of Wolfson College, Oxford and one of the founding members of Modern Stoicism, a non-profit organization aimed at researching and publishing information on the application of Stoic philosophy to modern life for the benefit of the general public. He is also part of the organizers of Stoic Week, an annual event that invites participants to live as Stoics for a week.
