Maria Espluga
María Espluga Solé, born in Barcelona in 1968, is a prominent illustrator and author of children's literature. Educated in graphic design and drawing in her hometown, she published her first illustrated book at the age of 18 and, since then, has collaborated on more than a hundred titles. Among her most notable works are Arena en los zapatos (2003), Ricitos de oro (2001) and Yo, astronauta (2002).
In addition to her work in literature, Espluga has designed costumes, props, and puppets for children's theater plays, demonstrating her artistic versatility.
