She enjoys flower and vegetable gardening, landscaping, travel, hiking, water, and combining as many of those elements as possible. Born in Iowa, Wilson now lives with her husband in the Newfound Mountains, part of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Western North Carolina. Living at 3500′, they are part of the boundary between the Great Smoky Mountains and the Unicoi Mountains to the south.
