Synopsis "A Lady Under Siege"

Meghan is a single mom, besieged by the stresses of work, relationships, and parenting. In sleep, she begins to dream of another life, of a Lady named Sylvanne, trapped in her dying husband's castle, under siege by the army of a powerful Lord. The dreams are vivid, as real as life, and their reason is only revealed when the Lady is delivered into the presence of Lord Thomas...Spanning the centuries, A Lady Under Siege is a fast-paced, complex and quirky story of courtly love, contemporary romance, and affairs of the heart. When lovers collide across time, a twelfth-century Lord can find life lessons in twenty-first-century pop songs, and a modern-day woman can find a champion in the unlikeliest of places. Brian Preston is an award-winning writer whose work has been published in such magazines as Rolling Stone, Details, and Vogue. He is the author of Pot Planet, which the New Yorker described as "gimlet-eyed and often hilarious.
