Clear and Present Danger
Echar Lesplea Sant (Author) · Covenant Books · Paperback
Long before disobedient high school and college dropouts reached the epidemic proportions of AK-47s and the other assault-style weaponry of today; parents simply reported their rebellious kids to the local authorities at the first signs of trouble. However, as we all know today, local authorities don't always act swiftly enough to prevent fatal, disastrous events from occurring (e.g., Columbine, Sandy Hook, Uvalde, and other mass shootings).[1]
Consequently, after one troubled teen dropped out of high school in the 1960s, his parents knew the next step in their son's rebellious lifestyle was to learn how to use every kind of military-style assault weapon. So, they set the precedence for what all parents should
be doing today, by immediately taking the matter out of the hands of the unpredictable local authorities and turning their son over to the absolute Highest Authority on earth. But the question is whether that authority acted quickly enough to prevent their son from going out with a "bang" while destroying many innocent lives as well as his own, like the other
twenty-first-century mass shooters of today. [2]
Listen to the Bible:
Just as it is written: "There is a way that seems right to
a man, but in the end, it leads to death." (Prv 14:12).
[1] Guns are the leading cause of death among American children and teenagers. 1 out of 10 gun deaths will affect children age 19 or younger. https://www.sandyhookpromise.org
[2] There have been hundreds of school shootings since Columbine 1999. Since 1999, over 300,000 children and counting have experienced or been affected by gun violence. This number changes weekly. https://en.m.wikipedia.org>wiki
