The book represents the importance of competition in day to day life as it is everywhere in some form or the other. It starts well before the birth when sperm cells compete with each other to penetrate the egg cell to initiate life. This is the law of the nature that the best one survives the most. The feeling of competition exists in every field including political, economic, educational, and sports. There is a never-ending struggle for food, shelter and resources. Each one wants to get maximum control over the available resources. The competitiveness has positive as well as negative consequences. It improves alertness and directs the focus on the path of progress. Winning is perceived as rewarding, motivating and satisfying. Every party involved in competition has a strong desire to win. However, competition has its two sides i.e. winning and losing. Losing is serious business. It results in frustration and feeling of inadequacy. Cutthroat competitions lead to impatience, jealousy, rivalry, aggression, overthinking and brutal tendencies. There is no harm in having healthy competition which is good for both the parties. This book reflects a broad view of this vital issue.
