....U.S. Marshals usually move Witness Protection candidates far away from their last known place of address or LKA (last known address). Pine Mountain is forty miles north from where we once lived. While on our honeymoon in Italy, Vinny and I debated where we should go. I insisted on hightailing to another state like Oregon - far away from North Carolina. Discussing the relocation, Vinny said his current alias would be enough to keep us under the Mafia's radar. Attending an agent only dinner party, the group had an intense rap session about an undercover who recently went into WP. Bob testified with Vinny in PA. Vinny's partner moved thousands of miles from his previous zip code. If you call Bob, he doesn't answer his phone. It's a dead line.
