Eric Carle (1929-2021) was a renowned author and illustrator of children's literature, famous for his distinctive collage style with vibrant colors and striking textures. His most iconic work is The Very Hungry Caterpillar (1969), which has sold millions of copies worldwide and has been translated into more than 70 languages.
